Experimental Biochemistry Unit

Overview:
The experimental biochemistry unit (EBU) has been established in 2008 as a consortium of labs focusing on five contemporary branches of biochemistry such as Immunological Biochemistry, Molecular Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, Nutritional Biochemistry and Microbial Biochemistry. The unit focuses on carrying out various research projects related to the above mentioned fields. These research projects will involve the development of technical expertise amongst the students and also in the advancement of contribution to basic and applied research.



General Goal:

The consolidation of applications and the advancement of chemistry in the areas of experimental medicine.
